Coffee-Stained Media is a multidisciplinary creative studio built to help small businesses, artists, and communities turn ideas into cohesive visual and physical experiences. We bring together photography, videography, design, web development, and in-house production so creative concepts can move seamlessly from digital expression to tangible form — all under one roof.

Our foundation is rooted in photography — and more specifically, in dog photography. What began as a love of capturing the personality, movement, and spirit of dogs grew into a broader commitment to storytelling through imagery. Photographing animals requires patience, timing, adaptability, and emotional awareness — qualities that continue to shape how we approach every project, from family portraits to brand campaigns.

Our background in video and marketing began in the world of infomercials. That early experience taught us how to hold attention, communicate value clearly, and move audiences from curiosity to action. The discipline of explaining products, telling persuasive stories, and structuring visual narratives for impact still informs how we craft modern brand content today — just with better lighting.

From there, we expanded into professional photography and video production for businesses and organizations. We create high-quality visual content for websites, social media, advertising campaigns, and both short-form and long-form storytelling. We capture process, personality, and place in ways that feel intentional, natural, and grounded.

But we don’t stop at the screen.

Coffee-Stained Media is actively building a complete creative pipeline — a production ecosystem designed to transform branding and imagery into physical reality. We produce apparel, graphic materials, signage, surface printing, promotional products, and custom fabricated objects that extend your visual identity into real-world environments. Whether it’s uniforms, merchandise, environmental graphics, packaging, or specialty creative pieces, we ensure that what your audience sees online matches what they experience in person.

By integrating creative development and production into one unified workflow, we reduce complexity and eliminate the need to coordinate multiple vendors. Our production capabilities also pair naturally with our video workflows, allowing us to document the making of your products, create promotional films, and tell the story behind the brand as it comes to life.

Who We Are

Jason Lorig

CEO – Founder – All Around Swell Guy

Jason Lorig is the founder and lead operator of Coffee-Stained Media. He began his film career in the early 2000s writing, shooting, and editing infomercials in the Seattle area — a foundation that shaped both his technical precision and storytelling focus. Writing remains his specialty, but his filmmaking work has earned national recognition. His background includes collaborations with Microsoft, Xbox, The Gates Foundation, and the Seattle Seahawks, along with award-winning digital projects, including a Webby and Emmy-winning production in 2022. He oversees business development, project delivery, advertising, and print operations — bringing creative clarity, technical rigor, and a grounded approach to every project.

Bradley Gibbs

Head of Photography

Brad Gibbs leads the still photography division at Coffee-Stained Media as head photographer and lead photo editor. He oversees creative direction, editing standards, and business development for the division, ensuring a consistent, high-quality visual aesthetic across projects. His technical precision and strong eye for composition shape the studio’s photographic voice. Brad and Jason have collaborated for the past three years on a wide range of projects, including real estate, pet and dog photography, portrait sessions, senior shoots, and themed events. Their partnership blends technical discipline with creative instinct, creating a focused yet comfortable on-set experience for clients.

Brad’s return to photography began during COVID, when he revisited the craft and combined it with a growing interest in pet portraiture. What started as a personal creative pursuit evolved naturally into professional work, eventually leading to the development of a dedicated studio practice.

Holden Tingelstad

Head of Videography

Holden Tinglestad is the head of videography and lead editor at Coffee-Stained Media. With a background in producing and delivering digital content for a growing production company in Minnesota, he brings years of hands-on experience in editing, content management, and production leadership. He also maintains an active YouTube presence with over 22,000 subscribers, reflecting both technical skill and audience awareness. Holden oversees the videography division, including production workflow and strategic development. He and Jason have collaborated for more than five years on projects ranging from YouTube series and commercial advertising to corporate media and a feature-length film produced entirely inside a video game engine. Their work together includes a major Microsoft production that earned both Webby and Daytime Emmy recognition. They operate with a highly efficient, intuitive collaborative style that allows projects to move quickly without sacrificing quality. 

Maxwell Cowles

Head of Digital Services

Maxwell Cowles leads digital strategy and performance marketing for Coffee-Stained Media. He oversees the planning, execution, and optimization of paid and organic campaigns, including Google Ads management, keyword research, conversion tracking, and search engine optimization across websites and listings. He also builds custom performance dashboards and reporting systems that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Max focuses on measurable growth, sustainable strategy, and long-term positioning. In addition to campaign execution, he serves as a strategic advisor — aligning marketing efforts with defined goals and ensuring decisions are driven by real performance data rather than guesswork. Max and Jason began collaborating in 2024 and have worked together on the Coffee-Stained Media website and backend systems, with plans to expand their digital services offering for clients.

Joseph Towey

Graphic Design Consultant

Joe Towey contributes to Coffee-Stained Media as a visual artist, designer, and animator. His expertise spans 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, and high-impact visual design, supported by experience in advanced digital media environments using volumetric staging, integrated lighting systems, and virtual production workflows. His work bridges artistry and technical precision, enabling everything from clean motion graphics to immersive animation sequences. Joe and Jason first collaborated on fast-paced infomercial productions, where Joe led 3D animation and on-screen graphic design. Their partnership developed through deadline-driven projects and evolved into a shared creative rhythm built on trust and complementary strengths. Joe’s visual storytelling instinct and technical agility make him a key creative contributor to the studio.

Clyde Garrido

Lead Videographer

Clyde Garrido contributes to Coffee-Stained Media as a photographer, videographer, and editor, bringing more than twenty years of experience as a director of photography and camera operator. As the owner of his own production company, he has worked across corporate video, national commercials, narrative films, and web-based productions, delivering strong visual storytelling grounded in technical precision. His commercials have aired nationally, and his cinematography has supported projects ranging from brand campaigns to scripted work. Clyde and Jason have collaborated since 2003 on projects spanning sketch comedy, travel content, award-winning infomercials, and commercial media across platforms. His ability to balance artistic composition with disciplined execution adds both depth and polish to every production.

Welcome to our entrepreneurial journey, where two like-minded individuals and their loyal canine companions have teamed up to chase their dreams. We are Jason and Brad, and we are the driving force behind Jabra.

**Meet the Humans**

Jason Lorig:
I’ve always been passionate about producing and creating fun and informative content and amazing visuals, and have become increasingly interested in running my own studio as a place to create said content. My journey in this domain began with a small Seattle-based infomercial company in the early 2000s, and has taken me all the way to Hollywood where I was lucky enough to be part of an Emmy-winning project in the early 2020s. With the unwavering support of my fiancé, Jane, I embarked on this venture to turn my vision into reality. 

Brad Gibbs:
For me, the allure of capturing the moment has been a lifelong fascination. I am grateful to have Garrett by my side as my biggest cheerleader encouraging me to follow my passion and establish Jabra.

Life outside the office wouldn’t be complete without our four-legged friends, who bring boundless joy and inspiration to our daily lives.

Brad’s Dogs:

Jason is the proud owner of Prada, a delightful furry friend who adds a touch of playfulness to our workdays. With a wagging tail and an infectious spirit, Prada keeps us grounded and reminds us to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
